"Warsaw Autumn" 48th International Festival of Contemporary Music

"Warsaw Autumn" is the only Polish festival of international prestige devoted to contemporary music. The newest Polish and foreign music is presented in the context of significant works of the second half of the 20th century. With commissioned works, pre-premieres, debuts of artist and performers it actively contributes to the creation of artistic and cultural facts.
The festival presents a multitude of developments and trends: from sound radicalism of the Weberian tradition, through trends referring to music of the past or traditional cultures, to audio-art, live electronics or sound installations.
